			<description><![CDATA[ As part of my 1949 Broadway Limited project, I&#39;ve managed to pick up a Rivarossi Lightweight RPO to turn into a near match for the Robert E. Hannegan.
before I go any further and start working on the car, has anyone done a kitbash of this car? What all would be required for this. I plan on stripping the
distasteful Canadian National lettering it came in before rebuilding. Also, will the Spectrum PB70 trucks work for this modification?

			<description><![CDATA[ I will show my ignorance now and ask for some explanation of the data on freight cars.  Up until fairly recently, I had just considered freight cars to be
those nondescript and numerous things that locomotives pulled!

WHat is the difference between BLT and NEW.  SOmetimes these dates are the same.  WHat do they mean?

Then there is CAPY, LD LIMIT and LT WT.  The capy on a 70 ton (capacity) car is 140000.  Understood.  And I think LT WT might be the weight of the car, less... ]]></description>

expert), is finely detailed and comes with metal wheels and Kadees (not clones).  $28.95 seemed high, but not when you consider what you are getting.  I had
never heard of Tangent before, but will be paying attention!

It appears, from photos, that the 44-tonners had a smaller Pennsylvania on the side than other switchers, and striped pilots to boot.

I&#39;m working on a couple of HO SW7&#39;s and noticed something in the few SW7 photos I have been able to dig up.

It appears to me that all the SW1&#39;s, NW2&#39;s and at least the first batch of SW7&#39;s all had the large (14&quot;?) diameter headlights (let&#39;s call
them &quot;latern-style&quot;).

It also appears that all the SW9&#39;s, and later (SW1200&#39;s, etc), all had dual (7&quot;?) sealed-beam headlights as delivered.

			<title><![CDATA[ Athearn 65'6" Mill Gondola ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I see that Athearn is coming out with a new or re-release of a 65&#39;6&quot; mill gondola with fishbelly sides and drop ends.  Although their website shows
the PRR version stenciled as a G26A, it looks more like it could at least be a stand-in for a G37 (the ribs all go to the bottom of the side).  Looks to me
that, if you replaced the Ajax brake wheel with a lever brake handle and repainted it in Shadow Keystone, it would make a reasonable G37.  Any comments from
the rivet counters?

			<description><![CDATA[ I am working on 3 HO models of PRR GP9&#39;s, 2 A&#39;s and a B, and have a couple of stupid questions.

The A&#39;s are both from the first order.  In fact, I decided to model two of the three preserved GP9s, 7000 and 7006 (both Phase IIA units), as-built new in
10/1955, and both of which were assigned to the Philly Region (both also had trainphones).  By the way the B is, properly, a Phase 3B unit from 1958 (I&#39;ll
work on that one later).

While I only paid $115 apiece for them, the catch is that I&#39;m on my own to supply the trucks. Sunset does not have them. I would like to know what trucks
