Gentleman: I don't know who comprises the committee who is working with BLI on the centipedes, but the in angles shown it appears the train phone antennas
are too high. Any comments? bill

One of the illusions I was under is that single stripe units pushed the curve exclusively. I have a few pix of what appears to be 5 stripe units pushing the
curve. Whether the regearing/repainting took place simultaneously is now in doubt. Granted, it was not a huge time peiod. In 1953 at least one set was still
called BP60.
Another odd thing is that the picture record is very bad as far as what unit#s got mated together. The photo's are almost always shot 3/4, thus the numbering on the back unit can rarely be determined, due to the length! Bill |

See Withers Volume Four, pages 207-209, for roster information and assignments including an explanation of the renumbering/pairing. My preorder for 5830/5818
just went in today. Yup, another monster(s) I don't really need, just like the upcoming Class Q2, and just like the Athearn UP Gas Turbine that showed up
yesterday. Nobody asked me, but why do I buy stuff I don't really need? Because this is REALLY COOL STUFF! John
