Walthers is offering a postwar 10/6 in PRR livery, but RFP on the letterboard. Did these ever run east-west? Panhandle?

That is something I havent seen on any east west photos. Nothing is impossible on the PRR, but I would guess these things were used primarily on NY-FLA
trains, which I do not model. I doubt it happenned because the train car would have to run to DC or Phila and then to Harrisburg before heading west. PRR DC
to points west was a route that ultimately got beaten out by the B and O.
Kind of odd that RF and P owned sleepers because the core route is only from Richmond to DC! ABout an hours travel time. Bill |

The RF&P 10/6's original assignment was on the overnight NY-Norfolk train that operated over the PRR between NY and Washington, the RF&P between
Washington and Richmond, the ACL between Richmond and Petersburg with the N&W handing the leg between Petersburg and Norfolk. The names of the RF&P
cars were "King and Queen", "King George" and "King William". The names of the N&W cars were "Buchanan County",
"McDowell County" and "Sussex County"
